LAM+ receives requests related to the analysis, imaging and characterization of sedimentary samples and related materials, with emphasis on high-resolution techniques, non-destructive approaches and integration of spectral, geochemical, physical and computational data. The laboratory also develops artificial intelligence-based solutions to support the interpretation of sedimentary sequences, pattern recognition, multiproxy data integration and the construction of more reproducible analytical workflows.
